Refunds
Last updated 19 August 2026
Seven days, no questions, no form. If Charmling isn't for you, say so and we will refund it.
How to get a refund
Reply to your receipt email, or write to support@charmling.app from the address you bought with. Tell us nothing more than that you want a refund. We do not ask why, we do not counter-offer, and we do not make you fill anything in.
When
Within seven days of purchase. Refunds are issued to the original payment method by Polar, our payment provider, and typically appear within five to ten working days depending on your bank.
After seven days
Write anyway. If Charmling genuinely did not work on your Mac — it would not launch, the AI features would not run on hardware you were told they would, something we described here turned out not to be true — we will refund you regardless of the date. The seven days is for changing your mind, not for hiding behind.
There is no free trial
We would rather say that plainly than bury it. Charmling has no trial and no free tier; the refund is the trial. Everything the app does is described on the main page, including exactly what it needs to run, so that you can decide before you pay rather than after.
Your statutory rights
If you bought as a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases, which sits alongside — and where it is more generous, overrides — everything above. We will not ask you to waive it.
Chargebacks
Please write to us first. A chargeback costs a solo developer a fee on top of the refund and takes months to resolve, and we will have already said yes.
